Learn from the Masters

-Strengthen observational skills by studying and recreating specific elements of master artists artwork. Journey through historic reference to build your art skill.

Art History

-Through this Classical Art based curriculum learn a brief history, explore artworks from one or more master artists and then apply an art skill applicable from that era through an art project. Each week will be a different skill and project.

Explore all the textures in nature! Make bark prints, paint with pinecones, stamp with flowers and create your own natural texture board. Explore and create using nature's tools!

Explore texture in air dry clay sculpture. Students will learn hand building techniques making all sorts of clay things. They'll also learn how to add different types of texture into their sculpts using natural and found resources.
