Felting Academy

This COMPLETE felting course takes you through ALL the felting techniques. Starting with 2D needle felting, then 3D felt sculpt, wet felting with a resist and ending with flat nuno felting. If you are fascinated with wool art and would like to take a journey in exploration and making then this is the course for you! Groups and friendships are welcome.

Classes are scheduled at a mutually convenient day/time. Each class has different start and end times.

Class breakdown:

Module #1:

A) Wool types and its properties

B) Tools Dry felt/Wet felt

(total 1+ hour)

Module #2:

2D felt painting

(2 lessons/total 4+ hours)

Module #3:

3D felt Sculpture

(5 lessons/total 10+ hours)

Module #4:

Wet felt flat and cord

(total 2 hours)

Module #5:

Wet felt w/resist vessel

(total 2+ hours)

Module #6:

Wet felt nuno scarf

(total 3+ hours)

*ALL Materials, tools, supplies included for each lesson. Students will leave with appropriate tools/supplies to continue at home. Can be paid in 6 monthly installments
