Felting Academy

This COMPLETE felting course takes you through ALL the felting techniques. Starting with 2D needle felting, then 3D felt sculpt, wet felting with a resist and ending with flat nuno felting. If you are fascinated with wool art and would like to take a journey in exploration and making then this is the course for you! Groups and friendships are welcome.

Classes are scheduled at a mutually convenient day/time. Each class has different start and end times.

Course breakdown:

Module #1:

A) Wool types and its properties

B) Tools Dry felt/Wet felt

(~1 hour)

Module #2:

2D felt painting

(2 lessons - 2 hours)

Module #3:

3D felt Sculpture

(5 lessons - ~60 minutes each lesson)

Module #4:

Wet felt flat and cord

(2 lessons - ~2 hours each)

Module #5:

Wet felt w/resist vessel

(1 lesson - ~2 hours)

Module #6:

Wet felt nuno scarf

(2 lessons - ~ 3hours)

Teen-Adult
